Frequently Asked Questions
RECRUITING
What is a Pro-Dynamix Recruiting DVD?
At Pro-Dynamix we produce our recruiting DVDs to maximize the marketing and impact
of your athlete. By assembling your athlete's clips we accentuate their strengths
and fundamentals and present them to the College Recruiter the way your athlete
is meant to be seen. Complete with statistics and game film our Recruiting DVDs
have a proven track record of success.
Why do I want a Pro-Dynamix Recruiting DVD? Why not just send game film?
Game Film is long and tedious and does not feature enough of your
athlete. Most recruiters do not have time to watch an entire reel
of film to see what your athlete can do on the field, or on the court.
By producing a thorough recruiting DVD of your athlete a Pro-Dynamix
Recruiting DVD increases the marketability of your athlete.
Much like submitting a resume the presentation of the athlete is
important to the recruiting process. Many College Recruiters want
to see a highlight film before seeing game film. Our recruiting DVDs
include both a highlight video and a reel of game film. That way,
if recruiters like your athlete's highlight video, they don't have
to wait to receive a reel of game film. Everything is there for the
recruiters as a one stop resource.
Is it worth the money?
Recruiting DVDs are sound financial investment toward the future
of your athlete. By getting your athlete a scholarship to college
you can save tens-of-thousands of dollars in college tuition costs.
SPORTS FILMING
Why should my team choose Pro-Dynamix to film our games?
There is no substitute for professionalism. Anybody today can purchase
a video camera and tape a game, but at Pro-Dynamix we specialize
in sports video production. Our 3 Chip Digital Clarity, coupled with
our well trained and experienced staff ensure that you get quality
game film. We know what the coaches want to see to best train and
evaluate their teams.
Can a coach get a VHS of the tape immediately at the end of the game?
Game Film on VHS is quickly becoming obsolete. With a transfer to
VHS, even with digital video, you lose resolution and the film quickly
becomes grainy and more difficult to see. Identifying formations
and players numbers can be far more difficult on grainy VHS. Pro-Dynamix
only provides film on DVD in order to maintain the clarity or our
digital signal and to better provide coaches with easy to analyze
game film with a longer shelf life.
How quickly can coaches get a copy of the DVD after a game?
Since DVDs take a bit longer to produce than a VHS Pro-Dynamix can
get the coaches their game film on DVD by the next morning. Depending
on the time of a day game the DVDs can be produced by that evening.
For the quality that you receive our clients agree that it is well
worth the short wait.
TROUBLESHOOTING
My DVD will not play in my computer. What do I do?
First, check to see if your computer has a DVD-ROM drive. DVDs are
only read on a DVD-ROM drive. Next, check to ensure if your computer
has DVD player software. Most computers with a DVD-ROM drive come
installed with DVD player software. If you have all of the above
and the disc still will not play check to see if your DVD is free
of dirt, scratches and finger prints. Any of these will interfere
with the laser reading the disc and prohibit, or negatively affect
play.
Is there a special way I should handle my DVDs to keep them in good shape?
Yes. DVDs, though durable and long lasting, are very fragile and
sensitive on their playing surface. The key is to keep your fingers
and anything else from touching the playing surface of the DVD. The
playing surface is free of any writing or graphics. When handling
DVDs please only hold the discs around the edges or in the hole in
the center. The key is to keep your fingers from touching the playing
surface at all times.
My DVD plays for only 30 seconds and then keeps repeating itself, what
is wrong with it?
Depending on the DVD that you have purchased the 30 second loop is
usually standard. If your DVD is looping a 30 second video on a menu
then that is planned. Many of the DVDs we produce come with a 30
second video loop instead of a stationary menu. If you see this looping
video on your menu please press the ENTER button on your DVD remote
control and that should automatically select the PLAY VIDEO option
on the menu. If that does not work and the video does not play then
please contact us and we will coordinate for a return and exchange
of the disc.
